Story Playbooks

One for every story. Sixteen in all.

A Playbook is a 32-page book your child writes in, draws in, and cuts up. Every activity is tied to a moment in that story. The maze paths follow the plot. The craft pages ask what the story meant to them. Nothing here asks a child to decode a sentence first.

When it is finished, it is evidence. Something to show a teacher who has only ever seen what your child cannot do yet.

The grown-up's half of this

The Playbook gives your child the activities. The Grown-Up Guide gives you a way in — one guide per character, covering every activity in that character's four Playbooks. What it is, why it works, how to do it together, and what your child's answers are telling you about what they understood.
